Communication Strategies in British Labor Force

This paper aims to estimate the effect of communicative strategies on Labor Productivity based on the data on British Establishments in 2011 using the Management Questionnaire of WERS6 (Workplace Employee Relations Survey), though the labor productivity measurement in the Dataset was subjectively evaluated by managers. I discover that there is an obvious overall effect of communicative strategies on labor productivity, even though the effect of frequency of meeting between workers and senior managers is larger and more statistically significant than that of joint consultative committees. Also, other factors such as the characteristics of the establishments and the pay systems cause slight changes in the effect of communicative strategies and influence labor productivity as well.
